Dallas Chamber Symphony Receives TACA Grant 2016
DCS Receives $13,000 TACA Grant Award
Dallas Chamber Symphony is honored to be a recipient of a $13,000 grant from the Arts Community Alliance (TACA), announced January 25th, 2016. At the Grant Awards Ceremony, TACA awarded $13 million to 48 organizations for general operating and project support. Funds will help support Dallas Chamber Symphony’s Sight of Sound program.
In 2015, TACA distributed an unprecedented $1.5 million in grants to local arts organizations. In 2016, TACA will again distribute $1.5 million. In June, we TACA will award $100,000 from the TACA Donna Wilhelm Family New Works Fund for the creation and development of new work and in September, an additional $100,000 will be awarded from the TACA Bowdon & Embrey Family Foundations Artist Residency Fund.
TACA will host its annual Silver Cup Award Luncheon honoring Rebecca Enloe Fletcher and James E. Wyly Jr. on Friday 19, 2016.
